Select or enter the desired city/town (or partial name if you don't know the exact spelling) where you want to stay (TravelRomp.com has hotel listings in thousands of cities across the globe), enter the date you will be checking in and the date you will be checking out and then click the Search button and TravelRomp.com will retrieve hotel listings that match your requirements.
Alternatively you can also browse our Discount Hotel Directory of over 40,000 hotels worldwide and narrow your search down to find a hotel you're looking for. Once you find a hotel you like, you can enter your travel dates and number of guests and check the current availability.
From the results page there are several things you can do.
Hotels that TravelRomp.com has negotiated special rates with require up-front payment with your credit card at the time of booking. Whether or not you will be charged up-front for a particular hotel will be clearly specified in the reservation form cancellation policy and hotel policy sections. This ensures you have a room when you arrive so you are not "bumped" or "overbooked". You could be responsible for additional charges if new taxes or fees are added by the hotel from the time of booking to the time you check out of the room. Additional charges for phone calls, room service, and other services will be your responsibility at the time of check out as well.
If a hotel is not a special negotiated rate, a credit card is still required to make a reservation but your card will not be charged until you check-out of the hotel.
In both cases, there can be cancellation charges which will be specified in the Cancellation Policy of a particular hotel before you make the final reservation.

Also because of changes in the way the airlines handle ticketing and to ensure that we provide you with the best possible customer service, 24-7, we charge a $10.00 per airline ticket fee. This only applies to airline tickets, NOT hotel or car reservations.
For hotel reservations, it will be indicated by the quoted rate if taxes and miscellaneous charges/fees are included. The Total amount for "Additional Rates" does not include taxes or fees, and any such taxes or fees will be collected by the hotel. The Total amount for "Special Internet Rates" is the full amount that you will be required to pay, and includes a tax recovery charge imposed by our supplier to recover the amount it pays to the hotel in connection with your reservation for local occupancy, value added and other similar taxes, our supplier's service charges for handling of your reservation.
For car reservations, in general the rate does NOT include taxes, insurances, airport fees, and other related fees. These will be explained at the time of booking. If possible and estimation of the "total rental fee" will be emailed to you with your completed itinerary.
For flight reservations, all taxes and surcharges are included in the rate (except for the $10.00 per ticket service charged described here.

You may also be quoted a Confirmation Number. All reservation requests bring you to a new page showing your itinerary details and your itinerary number, which should be kept and used with any future correspondence with TravelRomp.com. If available at the time of reservation a vendor confirmation number will also be supplied. If it's not available at the time of reservation, it will be emailed to you as soon as it arrives from the hotel or car rental agency.

When you are completing the Secure Reservation Form, the Cancellation Policy will be provided in red or there will be a link to read the cancellation policy. You can also view the property details page from the search results by clicking on the hotell name to find the cancellation policy. These policies will vary from hotel to hotel, so you must read each one carefully. In general, the standard increments are that you must cancel the room(s) by 4 or 6 PM on the arrival date, or 24, 48, or 72 hours prior to your specified arrival; however, these are just general guidelines and the specific policy of the property will prevail. If you cancel before the deadline, generally you will not be charged a penalty. Canceling after the stated period will result in a cancellation penalty fee.
Reservations of "Special Internet Rates" will apply a cancellation fee regardless of the timeframe of cancellation. If the cancellation is outside of the time allotted, you may be charged for one night's stay.
